Hi !
I am the leader of the internacional gaming clan Ragnarok as some of you might know
A few months ago we started whit a simple idea of creating an online competicion for the angolan gaming comunity , we have the finalcial and the human resorces to do it , but as we gathered it we discover we could do a lot more than a simples nacional competicion , and in this way we decided to create the African E-Sports Competicions .
There is a lot of internacional e-sports competicions , but none focus on africa , and we belive that is missing right now , a competicion we can call our own . It would help to promove the Africa gaming and would help to unite the african countrys .
I know a bit of your comunity and its very strong right know , nad whiout a douth its one of the comunitys we would like to have in this African competicion . I would like to know who should I talk about this project , who would be the head of this comunity , who ( or what group ) can work whit us and other contrys , represent your comunity and help us create something historic in the African Gaming Comunity .

Hi,

i would suggest contacting Sandspider on here or browse over to the NESA site and pose your question there.

Hope this helps.

Hey all, for clarity ...

Legal Issues: You can not represent your country without official approval. For sports (in this case E-Sports) the sport has to recognised by the National Sports Body. The Namibian Sports Commission is the Namibian authority.  The Application for the Namibian Electronic Sports Association is going to be assessed at the next meeting of the NSC. After that NESA should be approved.

From then on all official E-Sport and international events shall be co-ordinated via NESA.

We are in discussion to hold test matches against South Africa later this year and the Vice Chairman of the IESF has contacted us that NESA join the Federation.

About 10 African Countries are affiliated already, including Egypt and South Africa.

So, things are happening.

We will keep you posted.

In the meantime, get as many people to join NESA as possible.

DotA is definetely one of the games being played against SA, so form a clan and get ready for National Selection!
